If you have ever wondered what it was like to travel as a member of the Royal Family, you aren’t the only one. The Royal Family has been known to travel to some of the most stunning locations in the world. 

These vacations include visiting beautiful beaches, skiing resorts, incredible hiking opportunities, and more. Here is a brief list that covers some of the top destinations of the Royal Family in recent years.

Necker Island, Bahamas

Necker Island, owned by Richard Branson, has been one of the top destination options for the British Family for many years. Most recently, the island has been one of the top destination options for top celebrities like the Obama family.

However, the island did not gain exposure until Lady Di and the prince’s visit over New Year’s.

Klosters, Switzerland

When the Royal Family wishes to visit Switzerland, they do so in style by visiting Klosters.

This trend started when King Charles III and his wife, Princess Diana, traveled to the slopes. It is favored most by Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales, and Prince Charles and Lady Diana.

Norfolk, England

The royal family prefers to escape their life of grandeur in the castles by visiting the countryside in Norfolk. The family tends to stay at Sandringham Estate, which is a stunningly beautiful 19th-century country home.

During their stay, the family has been known to visit the beautiful beaches of Norfolk, located on the East Coast of England.

Lech, Austria

Situated in an Alpine village surrounded by remarkable mountains, which offer perfect skiing opportunities, Princess Diana is known to frequent the beautiful town of Lech.

While the resort is a lower level of royalty than a few other spots on the list, Princess Diana frequents this spot in remembrance of her late friend. This friend unfortunately passed away in an avalanche while visiting Klosters.
